AR5213 Multiprotocol MAC/Baseband Processor for 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz Wireless LANs
General Description
The Atheros AR5213 is part of the AR5004 solutions for 5 GHz and 2.4 GHZ wireless local area networks (WLANs). The AR5213 integrates multiprotocol media access control (MAC), a baseband processor, a PCI/CardBus host interface, and analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog (ADC/DAC) converters. When combined with the AR5112 Radio-on-aChip (RoC) for the AR5004X, or the AR2112 Radio-on-a-Chip (RoC) for the AR5004G, these chip sets enable a cost effective, low power silicon solution for WLAN access point and station applications.
