Abstract : A lumped π 2type equivalent circuit of planar spiral inducto r for CMOS RFIC application is developed by t he domain deco mpo sition met hod for confo rmal modules (DDM2CM) . Clo sed form exp ressions of lumped parame2 ters fo r a square spiral inductor on a Si2SiO 2 subst rate are o btained and verified wit h t he p reviously p ublished experi2 mental result s.
