TMS320x281x to TMS320x280x 2801x 2804x Migration Overview (Rev. A)

This application report describes differences between the Texas Instruments, TMS320x281x and the TMS320x280x/2801x/2804x DSPs to assist in application migration. While the main focus of this document is migration from 281x to 280x/2801x/2804x, users considering migrating in the reverse direction will also find this document useful. Functions that are identical in both devices are not necessarily
included. All efforts have been made to provide a comprehensive list of the differences between the two device groups in the 28x generation.
