Overview
TheTRITON-ECOhas been designed as a very low-costPXA255modulefor projects where price and low power consumption are critical factors.
TheTRITON-ECOis a complete computer, ingeniously implemented on a board smaller than a credit card, and ready to be designed into your embedded system. TRITON includes a 400MHzIntel®XScaleprocessor, SDRAM and Flash memory. The integrated LCD-controller enables direct connection of a LCD screen, and the standard PCMCIA/CF drive interface permits simple extension and integration into a target system.
Expansion
Unlike other low-costPXA255modules, theTRITON-ECOprovides the designer with access to the most important PXA255’s signals for expansion. See the Specifications below or download the datasheet for full DIMM144 pin-outs.
Low Power Consumption
The TRITON-ECO contains a Core Power Generator with more than 90% efficiency. Power consumption can be reduced by using a combination of sleep-mode and clock-rate selection to approx 3mA. Typical consumption with running Linux process is about 230 mA max.
